Collective Cup
Collective Cup Coffee is where good coffee meets good work. It embodies the belief that something as ordinary as a cup of coffee can produce extraordinary impact.
Every bag of Collective Cup coffee is part of a bigger story, one that connects daily rhythms of work, rest, and hospitality with the renewal of communities around the world. When you brew a pot at home, serve it at church, or share it in your workplace, you’re joining a collective effort to integrate faith and work for the sake of others.
The coffee itself is ethically sourced in El Salvador and roasted in Canada by Firebat Roasters, ensuring exceptional quality and care from bean to cup. But more than taste, it carries purpose. In partnership with churches and entrepreneurs globally, proceeds from Collective Cup are invested in initiatives that encourage marketplace discipleship, support small business training, and strengthen local economies through redemptive business. In this way, Collective Cup reflects Vennture’s vision for people to see their work as worship and a way to participate in God’s redemptive mission through everyday work and daily activities.
At its heart, Collective Cup is an invitation. It’s an invitation to slow down, gather with others, and recognize that the work of our hands, even in something as simple as a cup of coffee, can be woven into God’s greater story of redemption.
Vennture and CBM
Vennture: Faith Meets Work is an initiative of Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) that equips pastors, leaders, and individuals to integrate faith with everyday work and business.
For over 150 years, CBM has been committed to global mission, partnering with local churches around the world in areas such as poverty alleviation, standing up for kids at risk, and justice through restored relationships and equity. Vennture builds on this foundation with a unique focus on the intersection of faith with daily work through vocational discipleship and wholistic marketplace engagement.
Through Vennture, CBM helps the church recover a whole-life vision of discipleship, affirming that work is not separate from worship or mission, but central to God’s redemptive purposes. This takes shape by resourcing pastors to teach about work and vocation, equipping entrepreneurs and professionals to see the redemptive nature of their work and business, and creating opportunities for Canadians to support small business initiatives with global partners in the majority world.
CBM provides the global networks, partnerships, and mission infrastructure. Vennture, in turn, offers a practical framework that connects those global realities with the daily work of believers in local, vocational, and workplace contexts. Together, they invite the church to see work as worship and vocation as mission.
